I changed my mind

Current result is negative. Half of me wishes to sigh in relief and the other half wants to go and and cry in the bathroom.

So I have made a decision. I am not going back on the pill. This is something I have been thinking about for a while now.

I have been switching my diet over to organic only for the last few months to avoid pesticides, hormones and other shit, and the irony is not lost on me that I voluntarily pump myself full of them on a daily basis.

And the Baron has packed my last packet anyway. He is supportive of my decision to come off of it for the reasons above, and so that is that.

Sorry for the drama.

Relieved and sad at the same time - yeah, I know what that's like.

I think it makes sense that if you're trying to avoid putting artificial stuff into your body, going of BCP makes sense. There are lots of other alternatives. Glad to hear the Baron is supportive!

He didn't get a whole lot of choice, but he understands why I have chosen this, and is fine as long as an alternative is used!

So I am really pleased I will not be taking them anymore, and I plan to start researching NFP.

That decision makes perfect sense.

We are talking about a puppy. And a 7th cat did come up. To be decided against. My reputation can't take anymore.

NFP can work and it's not that time consuming. The abstaining part always got me because my hormones make me the horniest right when I'm not suppose to have sex. Stupid nature...
