We moved here because we thought it was safer for the cats.
Not so. For obvious reasons.
Before he was killed, Harvey used to fight with a local cat. Pretty little girl - all black with white feet. Both wanted to rule the neighbourhood.
Guess who we found today?
Harvey's nemesis. Killed on the same stretch of road.
What are the odds?
I bet they are still fighting now.
Dangerous stretch of road there! Are you going to keep your cats indoors now, DMouse?
Too cute about Lila squeezing between the bars. Just wait until she grows some and gets stuck!

Will the cats tolerate having to stay inside...or some of those collars that won't let them leave the yard?

Wow, what a tragedy!

How bizarre! Sounds like that road is a hazard, and probably not just to poor kitties.
I hope Harvey is kicking her ass somewhere.

I think they might just remain indoors. Ellie has been out a couple of times, and we have found it hard.
So we are working on making indoors more appealing.
I bet Harvey has sorted her out by now. He always did see himself as the Boss of Everything and Everywhere!
