I acquired an allotment today.
Not just an allotment, but a rather large patch of land is mine for the princely sum of £30 a year. No-one else in the village is using the allotments, and so I can rent the entire lot to expand my vegetable garden.
So.......it looks like I might be able to keep chickens in my garden now! I am so excited!
